Jacqui Bauer, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist / Owner of Joint Joint Topicals
Jacqui’s massage clients say she has mastered finding that sweet spot where a results oriented massage intersects with an “ahhh, this feels so good” experience. Her intuitive style gives you the best of both worlds; your trouble spots are addressed while your whole being is transported to a deeply restorative place.
In addition to a knack for tuning in, her signature style comes from nearly two decades of experience and schooling in Swedish and deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and reflexology. Her repertoire includes a diverse range of specialties, from prenatal, hospital-based, oncology and pediatric oncology massage therapy to energy therapy and a passion for plant medicine. Jacqui has worked with Unite For Her and Living Beyond Breast Cancer, two nonprofits that provide support for cancer patients. She also had the privilege of using her pediatric massage training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to provide supportive care for children going through cancer treatment.
Jacqui’s love of plant medicine led her to found Joint Joint, a company that crafts hemp based topicals to relieve joint and muscle aches. Joint Joint originated from her desire to extend the benefits of massage therapy beyond the treatment room, allowing clients to continue their care at home through the power of plants. Joint Jointproducts are not only used in most treatments at Note To Self, but are also being used by healthcare providers in two Philadelphia area medical systems for patients wishing to decrease their prescription burden or who have found conventional methods for alleviating discomfort to be ineffective. Joint Joint products are completely natural and made with organic ingredients, reflecting Jacqui’s belief that you should feel good about what you’re doing to feel good.
The knowledge that there is no real separation between body and mind is what drives her massage work. She loves to help her clients purge daily stress so that the body’s energy can be used for healing and feeling good instead.
